Sydney Explorer

Well it's been a few days since my last post and I have been very busy. "A" and I have had some time off so we took the chance to do a little bit of exploring around Sydney. The weather has been a mixture of sunshine, rain, hail and freezing cold winds but we have had fun nonetheless.

In all my time living in Sydney I have never been to Toronga Zoo. We took the Ferry across the harbour and then it was a short trip to the Zoo. We then spent the day checking out the animals and enjoying a very brisk walk around the park.

We have also taken some time to wander around the harbor and The Rocks. I am a big fan of markets and The Rocks has one of the best Markets I have seen in Sydney. Then it was of to Darling Harbor, Manly, and the Opera house. After 5 days of almost solid walking I collapsed into bed last night exhausted.

I have to say that I am tired of winter at this point. The novelty has completely worn off. Sydney Harbor is beautiful all year round but some sunshine would have been a real bonus.
