Well my flight into Los Angeles was delayed coming out of Cincinnati last night and as a result I missed my flight back to Sydney. Delta has give me a night in the Marriot and booked me on the next flight which leaves tonight. There is a silver lining to every cloud though as it has meant that I got to spend all of today touring around L.A which I would not have gotten to do. I am really glad that I too the opportunity and got out of the hotel. My favorite spots were Venice Beach and Hollywood Blvd.
I will put up some pictures when I get home as unfortunately my camera card reader is in my luggage. There is so much to tell but I think I will save it for when I get home. I really have had a great time on this trip. The thing that would top it off perfectly would be an upgrade for the return flight. The assistant that rebooked my ticket told me I would have to check at the gate (which I think is airline speak for "not my problem").
Fingers crossed though that my next post will be from home!
